AKC Registered Yellow Labrador Retriever Puppy and Hunting Dog Training
(Meet the Pup in Person at the Auction!!!)

Six yellow Labrador Retriever puppies were born on February 10th, and one male puppy will be donated to KAMO’s auction. The litter is AKC registered, and pedigrees of dam and sire will be provided with the puppy. This is a repeat breeding because the puppies from the previous litter looked very promising in the field and water. The puppy had his dew claws removed and received his first round of shots. The puppies have been introduced to a live bird and swimming in the pond. Your puppy will come with a puppy bumper, a book “Absolutely Positively Gundog Training” by Robert Milner and a few days of puppy food.

The donators own the Dam, ‘Sunny,’ and have owned the bloodline for three generations. She is a pointing Labrador. She hunts upland pheasants, quail and chukar, and retrieves ducks and geese on both water and land. She is trained to handle with blind retrieves, has great desire to work, will break ice for retrieves and has dived under the water to pick up crippled ducks. She has great stamina and drive and is an excellent dog around the house. Her eyes and hips have been tested and certified. She weighs 65 lbs. and is yellow. This is her second litter.

The Sire ‘Dub’ is an excellent working and hunting dog. He has significant hunting experience with great desire and endurance. He is trained to handle with blind retrieves but does not show pointing traits. He weighs 70 lbs. and is yellow. He sired the first litter and has sired numerous other litters. All his pups have been reported as excellent dogs.
At Stark Raving Kennel we raise one to two litters of Labrador Retrievers per year. Our goal is to raise excellent pups that will have a career as a hunting dog, service dog and family companion. Over the last twelve years our previous pups have all been excellent working dogs, with the majority going to hunting homes. Most of the puppies from our litters have gone through the gun dog training program at DL Walters Kennels in LaCygne, Kansas with excellent results. All pups have been reported to be excellent hunting dogs and companions.

TRAINING
Devin Greiner with DL Walters Kennels from LaCygne, Kansas, is donating one month’s training for the pup. One month of training will take the pup through the formal obedience program and prepare him for the additional training in the gun dog program. The gun dog program takes the dog through force fetching, single and multiple retrieves in the field and water and can include blind retrieves if the owner desires.

Kifaru 357 Mag Internal Frame Pack - 24" Stays and Steelhead Chest Rig
Based on the Kutthroat Suspension, the 357 Mag is handstitched, lightweight and compact. The 357 Mag has two side pockets, top and panel access, and multiple zippered pockets. Pals webbing on the front panel and inside of the back panel will make attaching other items like belt pouches or radio mounts easy to do. The inside has two tabs for K clip straps to secure loads like radios or meat to the back panel. The Kutthroat suspension is sized to hold 24” composite or aluminum stays and has 3 load lifter attachment points.
